Paul Eugene Ludwick, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.

He was born Oct. 6, 1938, to Charles and Bernice (Bruner) Ludwick in Kismet.

He married Norma Lee Denton Feb. 26, 1957, in Clayton, N.M. She died in 2009.

He graduated from Liberal High School in 1957.

He went to work in the oil fields around Kansas. He later went to work for Uniroyal in Kansas and in 1972 as a mechanic for Goodyear in Claremore, Okla. He also worked as a bus mechanic for Sequoyah schools, Foyil schools, Justin-Tiawah schools and Rejoice Christian School in Owasso, Okla., for many years. He retired from Sequoyah schools in 2000.

He enloyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Michael Ludwick and wife, Cindy, Claremore, Jim Ludwick and wife, Pat, Claremore, Rock Ludwick and wife, Leslie, Fargo, N.D., and Paula Barnes and Mike Morse, Claremore; brother, Tommie Ludwick; grandchildren, Jeanette and husband, J.C., Jamie, Dhristina and husband, Cliff, Krystal and husband, Zach, Mallory, Clay, Kenzie and husband, Sean, Jesse and Krista; great-grandchildren, Coty, Kyle, Normandie, Alissa and husband, Alex, Alia, Jay, Abby; and great-great-granddaughter, Emery.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John Ludwick, James Ludwick, David Ludwick and Lillian Strahan.

o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Musgrove-Merriott Smith Chapel in Claremore.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kismet Cemetery.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
