EDITH A. WALKER

Edith A. Walker, 87, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.

She was born Dec. 17, 1921, to Charles F. and Sarah V. Wagoner Karlin in Wellington.

She married Floyd E. Walker June 17, 1940. He died in 1985.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Liberal.

She is survived by one son, Walter “Sonny” Walker and wife, Loretta, Buhler; two daughters, Bonnie Nix and husband, Jeff, Liberal, and Jody Davis and husband, Don, Liberal; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Anthony Walker, two brothers, Frank C. Karlin and Merle A. Karlin, and one sister, Mary Howe.

o Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the

Restlawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. James P. Dieker presiding.

Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Miller Mortuary.
