CLEVOLA J. SHULTZ
ELKHART – Clevola Jean Shultz, 78, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
She was born Aug. 14, 1931, to Cluster Marion and Jennie Lucille (Weitner) Rhoads in Macksville.
She married Jack Shultz Dec. 31, 1948 in Clayton, N.M. He died May 28, 2009.
She graduated from Elkhart High School.
She worked as a waitress and was a receptionist and business partner for the family business, Safety Lane Service of Elkhart.
She was a member of the First Church of God in Elkhart.
She enjoyed helping people, camping, fishing and playing bingo.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Shultz and Mike Shultz and wife, Stacy; two daughters, Janice Rodriguez and husband, Mike, and Dee Lusk and husband, Forrest, all of Elkhart; one brother, James Frances Rhoads; one sister, Sharon Kay Hohl; seven grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Leota Fern Long and Evelyn Mae Rhoads; and step-father, Lester Neil.
o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Church of God in Elkhart with the Rev. Gary Murrell presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
