DOROTHY E. REXFORD
MEADE – Dorothy E. Rexford, 88, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, in Meade.
She was born June 25, 1921, to Olan and Mae Wilson in Dodge City.
She married Alva E. Rexford March 24, 1940, at the Methodist Church in Dodge City.
She graduated from Dodge City High School. She then attended Dodge City Community College.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Meade.
She was a member of the Webb Chapter of the Eastern Star and served as the worthy matron in 1953.
Survivors are two sons, Gary, Topeka, and Buck, Meade; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marie Sayles.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel in Meade with Pastor Tom Walters presiding.
Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Meade.
Friends may call until 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggeted to the Lone Tree Retirement Center, in care of the funeral home.
