HUGOTON – Leo Simon Romero, 58, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, in Wichita.
He was born Aug. 29, 1950, to Eliseo and Mary (Guerrero) Romero in Hugoton.
He served his country in the United States Army.
He was a member of the Catholic Church in Wichita.
Survivors include his mother, Hugoton; four sons, James, Johnny, Michael and Daniel, all of Wichita; three brothers, Ernersto “Ernie” Romero and wife, Ernestine, Maxwell, N.M., Frankie Romero and wife, Margie, Albuquerque, N.M., and Tommy Romero and wife, Mary, Hugoton; three sisters, Kathy Saldana, Hugoton, Evangeline “Van” Townsend, Kane, Pa., and Nellie Garcia, Hugoton; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Andy Romero.
o Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Cremation has taken place.
