It took the Tyrone Bobcats a quarter to get going. Unfortunately for the Bobcats that ended up being enough to cost them the game, as Boise City won 50-39 at the Texhoma Tournament.

Boise City jumped out to a 19-9 lead in the first quarter. Tyrone countered in the second by outscoring the Wildcats 11-8, but still trailed 27-20 at halftime.

Boise City added two points to their lead in the third, and another two in the fourth quarter, winning by a final margin of 11.

Austin Olivas led Tyrone's offensive charge, scoring 14. Chantz Reese and Ethan Reese each added 6 as a total of eight Bobcats scored.

Tyrone took on Goodwell Saturday for seventh place.
