The younger Lady Redskins could not find a way to stop the senior-led Ulysses Tigers Tuesday, losing 55-43 at The Big House.
The Lady Redskins not only played without Justice Norah who is out the rest of the season with a torn ACL, but Marisol Regalado was alo in street clothes on the Lady Redskin bench.
But Ulysses’ power forward Kaylea Britton did play, and the Lady Tiger fought through foul trouble to score 18 points.
Liberal trailed by 13 early in the second quarter, but a three-pointer by Ramey Petty started a 10-2 Lady Redskin run that narrowed the gap to 26-21.
Ulysses responded with a three-pointer from Vanessa Monzon, and the Lady Tigers had a 30-21 halftime lead.
Liberal trimmed the lead to four early in the fourth quarter but Ulysses ended the game on a 15-7 run.
Jai Chapman led Liberal with 15 points, and Shaquill Bond added 12.
