MANUEL M. VALLES

Manuel Martinez Valles, 65, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

He was born on Nov. 26, 1943, to Alberto and Francica (Valles) Martinez at Miguel Auza Zac., Mexico.

He married Patricia Sandoval on June 4, 1978, in Clayton, N.M. She survives.

He worked for Behne Construction for 13 years and for Seaboard Farms for two and a half years. 

He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Other survivors include two sons, Alphonso Mata and wife, Tasha, Guymon, Okla., and Jose Martinez and wife, Kirstein, Guymon; one brother, Isaac Martinez and wife, Abigiala, Guymon; and two grandchildren, Angel Madrid and Gabriel Martinez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.

o Rosary services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Raul Sanchez presiding. 

Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation and will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
