On Tuesday, April 19, the Seward County Sheriff’s Office, Liberal Police Department, Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma District One Drug Task Force began an investigation into possible drug trafficking from Texas into Kansas. Two individuals, an adult female and an adult male, were arrested following a traffic stop in which approximately 96 bundles, or a total of 125.8 pounds, of marijuana were seized.  Charges against both suspects have been filed in Oklahoma and Kansas in connection with this investigation.
