After winning three of four against Pratt on Friday and Saturday, the Seward County Saints clinched the Jayhawk West Championship for the second straight year and have also secured their spot as the No. 1 seed from the West for the upcoming Region 6 Tournament.

Seward took Game 1 of the series 5-3 before having to make a late game comeback to send the second game to extra innings where they came out on top 10-9 in 10 innings.

In Game 3 they could never get the bats going in a 4-0 loss but bounced back to win Game 4 11-5 to clinch the conference title.

The Saints will play a non-conference game Wednesday at Clarendon before taking nine days off and then hosting the Liberal Sub-Regional, as the No. 4 and No. 8 seeds from the East and the No. 5 seed from the West will come to Brent Gould Field in a double elimination tournament to see who moves on to Wichita and the Region 6 Final Four.  That tournament will take place May 7 and 8.
