JAIME HERNANDEZ

ULYSSES –  Jaime Hernandez, 34, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at his home in Ulysses.

He was born Dec. 16, 1974, to Inocente and Maria (Velarde) Hernandez in Chihuahua, Mexico.

He married Maria C. Rodriguez in May of 1996 in Ulysses. She survives.

He worked in the oil fields.

He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Ulysses.

Other survivors include his parents; one son, Mario Rodriguez and wife, Zayra, Ulysses; four daughters, Annel Hernandez, Jennifer Hernandez, Joanna Hernandez and Alondra Hernandez, all of Ulysses; one brother, Saul Hernandez and wife, Monica, Ulysses; two sisters, Brenda Hernandez, Ulysses, and Nelly Figueroa and husband, Elizandro, Ulysses; three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

o Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Ulysses.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Ulysses.

Burial will be at the Ulysses Cemetery.

Friends may call today at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the family and may be mailed to Grant County Funeral Home, 218 S. Main, Ulysses, KS 67880.
