LIBERAL — The LHS JV Boys Tennis Team hosted a 7-team tournament on Tuesday at Blue Bonnet Park. Because of the number of participants, the courts at Tobias Park and at Seward County Community College were utilized.
Garden City won the tournament with 20 points, followed by Meade in second with 16, Dodge City third with 14 points, Liberal Black fourth with 13,  Scott City fifth at 11 points and Liberal Red sixth with 3 points.
Individual Results for Liberal teams:
Liberal Black
#No. 1 Singles Jose Cotto 6-0 for first place; No. 2 Singles Andrew Wolford 0-6; No. 1 Doubles Lathan Mastellar and Jordan Seigrist 4-2. They were in a three-way tie for scond, and missed out on a medal by 2 points; No. 2 Doubles Erik Valencia and Sedrick Adkison 2-4 for fourth place
Liberal Red
No. 1 Singles Con Con Tablate 0-6; No. 2 Singles Alan Gaytan 1-5; No. 1 Doubles Angel Hernandez and Thanhhai Tran 1-5; No. 2 D Luis Barboza and Carlos Hernandez 1-5.
