Callie Millsap scored 14 and Lexi Delzeit six, but the Dodge City Demons were a little too strong in downing Liberal 39-30 in freshman girls basketball action on Monday. Liberal outscored Dodge City 11-3 in the second quarter and led 19-13 at halftime.
The Redskin boys struggled and fell to the Demons 56-15. Skyler Ward scored six to lead Liberal, while Cedric Mitchell, Jose Paz, Angel Viveros, Samuel Obando each scored 2.
The boys will take on Pratt Thursday at 6 p.m. There will be no girls game.
