GUYMON, Okla. – Ima Gene Schott, 85, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Hansford Manor in Spearman, Texas.

She was born July 16, 1925, to Mabel (Bracken) and H.A. Hardenbrook in Jefferson, Oklahoma.

She married Gus Schott Aug. 18, 1946. He died Feb. 6, 2010.

She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1942.

She was a homemaker. She was secretary at Sims Electric.

She was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church and the Tuesday night bowling league.

She enjoyed traveling, fishing and spoiling grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Schott and wife, Sandy, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Alan Schott and wife, Donna, Liberal; one daughter, Diana and husband, Marvin Tharp, Hardesty, Okla.; five grandchildren, Jeannie and husband, Tony Aton, Christy Kelso, Mitch Tharp and wife, Brandy, Dru Schott and wife, Tabitha, and Mundi and husband, Casey Ross; nine great-grandchildren, Tucker and Dalton Beasley, Shaylee and Shambri Kelso, Parker and Lakyn Tharp, Bethany, Wyatt and Spencer Schott; one brother-in-law, Marvin Schott, Derby,; step grandchildren and their families, Jessi Freeman, Josh Smith, Sky Freeman, Hunter Smith, Anel and Anthony Aton, Joshua Smith, Amanda Aton, Riddick, Piper and Auburn Aton; and other relatives.

She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Gus Adam Schott; brothers, Charles, Robert and Harry Hardenbrook; sisters, Estaline Best, Marie Mitchell, Wanda Lee Hardenbrook and Aliene Hardenbrook; brother-in-law, Richard Schott; and sister-in-law, Irma Jean Schott.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth, Guymon.

Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Empty Stocking Fund at Hansford Manor, 707 S. Roland, Spearman, TX 79081.
