Obituary

Judith A. “Judy” Coleman, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

She was born Feb. 5, 1936, to   Lawrence V. and Geneva B. McQuery Wheat in Springfield, Mo.

She married Dan Coleman Jan. 11, 1956, in Springfield, Mo. He died April 27, 2001.

She graduated high school inNew Albany, Miss., and attended  Dury College in Springfield, Mo.

She was employed at National Helium for 25 years and retired as executive secretary to the president.

She was of the Methodist  faith and a member of both the Liberal Investment Club and Elks Lodge.

She enjoyed reading.

She is survived by two sons, Dan Coleman and wife, Jackie, Corinth, Texas, David Coleman, Ardmore, Okla.; one brother, Larry Wheat and wife, Ann, Belvedere, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Vanessa Ames, Fort Drum, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

o Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Chapel.

Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Miller Mortuary.
