Gilford “G” “Scooter” Livingston III, 28, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born June 21, 1982, to Gilford Jr. and Iverria (Mitchell) Livingston in Liberal.

He graduated from Liberal High School in 2001 and attended one semester of college at Hutchinson Community College.

He was a track coach for Liberal High School for one year.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Quincy Alexander Livingston, Topeka; nine uncles, Kevin Livingston and wife, LaTasha, Tempe, Ariz., Alfred Mitchell, El Paso, Texas, John Livingston, Oklahoma City, Larry Mitchell, Russell, Sylvester Mitchell of Michigan, Rodney Livingston and wife, Heather, Tempe, Tobert  Livingston and wife, Susan, Emporia,  Aljalon Akinson and wife, Sheree,   Kansas City, and Alexis Mitchell,  Arlington, Texas; three aunts, Shirley Love and husband, Robert,   Liberal, Dorothy Williams and husband, Walter, Liberal, and Lorean McAdoo and husband, Raymond, Birmingham, Ala.; one nephew, Jamal Alexander Livingston, Topeka; grandmothers, Pearly Mitchell, Liberal, and Ledal Westhpal, Wichita; and grandfather, Alfred Mitchell, Liberal.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Gilford Livingston Sr.

o Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church with Elder Tobert Livingston, Supt. Lawrence Johnson, the Rev. Kirk Brown and Minister Robert Love Jr. presiding.

Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-8 p.m Wednesday with family present from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday to greet friends at Kitch–Brenneman Funeral Home.
