News has moved so far left that even Fox News has joined them E-mail

L&T Editor Emeritus Larry Phillips

Some of the best news in recent months showed up April 28, 2017, online at Mediaite.

The headline on an article by Rachel Stockman said it all: “Advanced Talks Underway For New Conservative Network Amid Fears Fox News Moving Too Far Left.”

Hallelujah and Amen.

I’m to the point I can’t watch Fox News more than about three hours a day, and I used to watch it nearly all day long prior to Donald Trump announcing his candidacy June 16, 2015.

First it was former Fox CEO Roger Ailes’ sheer hatred of Trump that became obvious with all the producers and directors who write the shows. Nothing but anti-Trump drivel.

Then after Ailes was fired, Robert Murdoch’s two pin-headed sons took the reins and have totally destroyed the channel’s brand and character.

It is now only a shadow of itself and is less “news worthy” than MSNBC, NBC, CNN, and the others. In fact, every morning now kicks off with Fox & Friends and Brian Kilmeade asking questions that seem like he’s been getting them from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” show. The questions are identical and are aimed at putting Trump in a negative light. He also thinks he should be Trump’s publicity chairman.

In fact, when you look up the definition of duffus, you’ll find Kilmeade’s photo.

And poor Steve Doocy. His notable talent on Fox & Friends is slapping his knees – loudly and continuously – for about 42 times and hour.

Strangely, the same negative questions previewed on Fox & Friends continue through every show that airs throughout the day until Hannity comes on at night. You’ll also see the same news clips 18 times during Fox & Friends – about six per hour – and they continue all day long.

Typical was Saturday when a weekend show opened up citing Trump’s Cabinet meeting where he led off with his accomplishments and how the stock market has reacted to his regulatory cuts and tax goals. A Fox talking head said Trump noted the Dow Jones was up X percent, same with NASDAQ and the S&P. She then said, “We fact checked that and he was correct on the percentages – but … how much of those gains had anything to do with Trump?”

I couldn’t believe that kind of cynicism? Or the stupidity.

Who in the heck thinks it wasn’t Trump? What he’s done and what he’s trying to get done?

Was it just the moon aligning with Mars or wishful thinking from Wall Street brokers? What a pitiful statement from Fox – identical to the leftists that run the Lame Stream Media.

Makes me gag.

Each one of Fox’s talking heads are reading text written by new leftist Fox producers and the irony is that Fox gives more air time now to leftist Democrat nut jobs and the socialists and communists than all the other networks combined.

Even Tucker Carlson brings more kooks on air than anyone. He thinks he can humble or embarrass them I guess, when in reality they filibuster and scream over him constantly, knowing they can get their hatred and disgusting lies out there to the Fox faithful. Fox gives them free air time.

Well, I’m sick of it.

Next thing you know is Fox will be giving new shows out to more crazy leftists groups.

How about an hour-long show, “Why We Kill Infidels” by the Taliban Five, live from Gitmo, and the panel could be moderated by Trump hater John McCain?

Then they could follow that with Nigeria’s Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau, interviewing young girls prior to sending them off with new so-called husbands. They could call it, “Forced Sharia Marriage and Rape is Wonderful.” We could let Sen. Lindsey Graham also ask the girls questions before they’re dragged off screen.

Then maybe an hour of “Why Waterboarding is Torture” starring Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and moderated by U.S. Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

With all the nut-jobs Fox gives air time to, these folks would fit right in. And Fox producers wouldn’t have to write as many “probing” anti-Trump questions like they do for their regular pinheads.

I loved it when poor old Charles Krauthammer said on the Brett Baier panel that obstruction is what the parties are supposed to do.

Since that poor excuse of a pundit never leaves the inner swamp of Washington, he has no clue whatsoever what is happening in middle America.

The obstruction to Obama was not wanting socialism, ObamaCare, highest corporate taxes in the free world – putting millions of people out of jobs with excruciating regulations and rules.

Americans opposed Obama forcing LGBT toilet rights down our throats. Americans elected obstructionists to fight his leftist trash and his destruction of our country and our Constitution.

Now, let’s look at Democrat obstructionists. They don’t want better and more affordable health care, or more jobs, or less taxes all the way around. They don’t want new factories or re-opening old ones to put people to work. They don’t want fossil fuels or small business entrepreneurs.

Sorry Krauthammer, what you obstruct matters, not just “to obstruct.” How many Democrats will be elected in 2018, Krauthammer, when all they care about is Russia, Russia, Russia and trying to destroy Trump and his vision for America?

Some policy to run on, and I believe the voters spoke up about it last November. Loud and clear.

And they’ll do it again in 2018.

Krauthammer isn’t the only bonehead at Fox. Geraldo “Grab The Remote” Rivera is the world’s worst. He’s on every hour all day long, and I always – naturally – grab the remote and go elsewhere.

And the biggest phony at Fox News is Dana Perino. She pretends to come across as a naive, sweet little country girl from Colorado, but I saw the real black widow when Eric Boller said on “The Five” that maybe people should give Trump some credit when discussing a candidate debate while 17 Republicans – including low-energy Jeb Bush – were still running.

Perino viciously attacked him on air and accused Boller he was only speaking up for Trump because Boller was trying to get Trump to finance a reality show starring Boller. She showed how much of a shrill scorpion she really is.

In fact, Perino is nothing more than an Establishment GOP political surrogate who has been in bed with the Bush brothers her entire career. She still supports them and vehemently detests Trump with all her little black heart can muster. She, too, belongs at MSNBC – but Fox loves her.

Even the so-called TV “journalists” – like Ed Henry and John Roberts – are constantly giving their worthless opinions about what Trump should do, what he should think, what he should say, how he should act or what he should Tweet.

I’m surprised they don’t tell him how to use the restroom.

All those Fox geniuses know more than anyone in the Beltway, even though they’ve never been out in the real world.

Those folks wouldn’t last long at a coffee shop in Liberal. They’d be told off, and if they tried being a smart aleck like they treat all the conservatives on air, they’d have a broken nose – at a minimum.

But the good news is people are putting together another conservative cable channel, according to Stockman at Mediaite.

“On the heels of major shakeups at the Fox News Network, an alternative conservative network is being actively discussed amongst conservative fat cats,” she wrote.

“A well-placed source close to the proposal tells Mediaite that serious discussions are underway to create an alternative conservative cable network on the belief that the Fox News Network is moving too far to the left. The source, who is engaged in the talks, says a meeting is planned for today (April 28) with two prominent high-powered television executives, some underperforming conservative networks and people who have an interest and the ability to fund a new network.

“‘I’m working on it (the new conservative channel) hot and heavy,’ the source said. ‘It’s live, it’s real.’ The new channel could come to fruition within the next 10 to 12 months, the executive said,” Stockman added in her report.
