ULYSSES – Tamara K. Dieker, 56, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
She was born June 2, 1960 to Joseph R., Jr. and Shirley (Wells) Weis in Lamar, Colo.
She married Stephen D. Dieker March 23, 2003 in Ulysses. He survives.
She worked a cross country truck driver.
She enjoyed working with wood, and made several items ranging from a covered wagon to a grandfather clock.
She raised parakeets, choi fish, and chickens.
She enjoyed spending time with her dog Taffy.
She enjoyed being outdoors, riding motorcycles, and traveling in their motor home.
Survivors also include her mother; sons, Todd Koehn and wife, Marisa, Ulysses, and Tanner Koehn, Ulysses; brothers, Michael Weis and wife, Shelley, Paris, Mo., and Mark Weis and wife, Jada, Ulysses; sister, Kimberly McGaughey and husband, Mark, Ulysses; and granddaughters, Kytaira and Trinity.
She was preceded in death by her father.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at the Shelton Memorial Christian Church with the Reverend Kelly Gindlesberger presiding.
Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
