SAND SPRINGS, Okla. – JoAnn Dean, 77, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at her home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1933, to Fred and Bessie L. Desper Kirkpatrick in Dodge City.
She married Virgil W. Dean Sept. 30, 1951, in Forgan, Okla. He survives.
She graduated high school in Forgan in 1951.
She lived in Wichita for five years before moving to Beaver, Okla., and worked with her husband.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Beaver and Sand Springs.
She is also survived by one son, Terry Dean and wife, Jeri, Forgan; two daughters, Patty Campbell and husband, Ronnie, Sand Springs, Okla., and Pam Bradt, Prue, Okla.; two brothers, Raymond Kirkpatrick, Wichita, and Jerry Kirkpatrick and wife, Pat, Wichita; two sisters, Susie Kinchloe and husband, Mel, Wichita, and Deloris Vest, Dodge City; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Donita Eyer and husband, Donald, Elmwood, Okla.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Christ, Beaver, Okla., with pastors Elliott Dunn and David Glascock presiding.
Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Mortuary and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ Beaver.
