ULYSSES – Ann L. Wagner, 79, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.

She was born Sept. 7, 1930, to Joseph and Annie May (Meadows) Hill in Arkansas.

She married Karoll G. Wagner Aug. 7, 1957, in La Crosse. He survives.

She worked as a sales clerk for Cantrell Pharmacy, Mododay Dress Shop and the Shoe Place.

She is also survived by one daughter, Shirley Dowell and husband, Edward, Hugoton; one brother, James Hill and wife, Marilyn, Miami, Okla.; two grandchildren, Eddie Dowell and wife, Tonja and Michelle Berry and husband, Randy; one great-granddaughter, Samathia Berry; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frances Webber.

o Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Patterson Avenue Church of God in Ulysses with Minister Earl Heath Jr. presiding.

Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Grant County Funeral Home in Ulysses.
