Patricia Louise Banning, 79, died Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.
She was born April 12, 1931, to Eugene Emmett and Katherine (McGinty) McCabe in Belleville.
She married Martin E. Banning Sept. 2, 1947, in Wichita. He survives.
She attended school until the 8th grade and earned her GED in 1972.
She was a homemaker and Avon representative for 32 years.
She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Liberal.
She also was a member of the Altar Society and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a Cub Scout den mother for seven years.
Other survivors include five sons, Lonnie Banning and wife, Patti, Arkansas City, Danny Banning and wife, Joyce, Valley Center, Justin Banning and wife, Carolyn, Dodge City, Brett Banning and wife, Lisha, Tyrone, Okla., and Bart Banning and wife, Bobbi, Tyrone; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter.
o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Father James Dieker presiding.
Burial will be at Tyrone Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
