FOWLER – Sharon I. Canton, 68, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at her Fowler residence.
She was born April 20, 1941, to Mildred Romberger.
She married LeRoss Canton April 1, 1967, at Fall City, Neb. He died March 8, 1993.
She was a bookkeeper and caregiver.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kingsdown.
She enjoyed cross stitching, board games, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by four sons, Robert Canton, Ashland, Mike Canton, Oklahoma City, Richard Canton, Hutchinson, and Brett Kendrick, Gunnison, Utah; two daughters, Jackie of Maine and Deanna Croson, Mayflower, Ark.; one brother, Jim O’Conner, Medford, Calif.; two sisters, Elva Awe of South Carolina and Bonnie Scharff, Clay Center; and 10 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ordie O’Conner.
o Celebration of Life services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church of Kingsdown, with the Rev. Orlando Jantz presiding.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial will for the ceremony at the Fowler Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary of Meade.
