FORGAN, Okla. – Verla Francis Coats, 77, died Sunday, April 4, 2010.

She was born July 19, 1932, to George and Lillian (Jones) Eagan.

She was lifetime member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Brad, Tappahannock, Va., Stan, Beaumont, Texas, and Russell, Oklahoma City; one brother, Gale Eagan, Forgan, Okla.; one sister, Alta Mae Beasley, Forgan; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. “Bill” Coats.

o Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Forgan Baptist Church with Paul Dickson and Wayne Moore presiding.

Burial will be at the Midway Cemetery in Floris, Okla.
