Liberal rail yard engine No. 2113 jumped the tracks Thursday morning directly across from the truck entrance to National Carriers on east Eighth Street in Liberal. Preliminary reports were that the engine was moving several cars in the yard for drop off on the National Beef spur line when the engine came off the tracks. No injuries were reported, and by this morning, engine No. 2113 was back on rails and parked on the southeast side of the yard.
