Obituary

 

FOWLER – Lorene Geneva Hatfield, 93, died Monday, July 21, 2014, at the Fowler Residential Care Center.

She was born Sept. 13, 1920, to Noah and Agnes Irene (Boyd) Mahieu in rural Fowler.

She married Howard Hatfield on Sept. 18, 1938, in Fowler.  He preceded her in death

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include sons, Donald and companion, Eula Odneal, Liberal, and Norman and wife, Jean, Fowler; daughters, Carol Stanley and husband, Dennis, Dodge City, and Sherri Copple and husband, Jerry, Bethoud, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Fowler, with the Rev. Dick Robbins presiding.

Burial will follow at the Fowler Cemetery in Fowler.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.

Memorials are suggested to the Fowler United Methodist Church or the Fowler Residential Care Center in care of the funeral home.
