HUGOTON – Nellie Violet Toole, 87, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.
She was born Aug. 28, 1922, to Marvin and Violet (Beesley) Miller in Hugoton.
She married Orval Roy Toole Sept. 1, 1940, in Hugoton. He survives.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hugoton.
Other survivors include one son, Terry Toole and wife, Mary, Shawnee, Okla.; one daughter, Yvonne Pierce, Hugoton; two sisters, Edna Kinser and husband, Leslie, Hugoton, and Winifrey Vore, Purdy, Mo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Roy Dean Toole, twin daughters, Myrna and Mildred Toole, one grandson, Dr. Monte Pierce, and one son-in-law, Earl Pierce.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church of Hugoton with Pastor Larry Bradford presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Paul’s Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
