LIBERAL – Mary Evelyn Lambert, 95, died Monday, March 24, 2014 at her residence in Liberal.
She was born June 13, 1918 to Amos and Mary (Stoll) Langacher in Kismet.
She married Harold T. Lambert in Kismet on August 28, 1937. He preceded her in death in July of 1995.
She was a 1937 graduate of Kismet High School.
She was a member of the Calvary Mennonite Church and was very active volunteer of the Et Cetera Shop.
Survivors include son, Larry Joe Lambert, Liberal; daughters, Carolyn Kay Arrowsmith and husband Howard, Newton and Donetta Sue Dreitz and husband Joe Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren: Donovan Arrowsmith and wife Amy, Jeremy Dreitz and wife Kerrie, Lana Dreitz, Matthew Lambert and wife Gabrielle, Jared Lambert and wife Debbi and Angie Thompson; eight great-grandchildren: Mikel Arrowsmith and wife Jordan, Tyler Arrowsmith, Seth Arrowsmith, Noah Lambert, Alex Pineda, Kaedence Thompson and Jadan Dreitz; and three step-great-grandchildren: Kirsten Ross, William Ross and Hunter Huskey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Wuanita June Langacher and Crystal Pauline Langacher; and great-grandson, Christopher Arrowsmith.
• Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Calvary Mennonite Church with David Quiring presiding.
Burial will be at the Kismet Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brenneman Funeral Home.
