Clyde D. Lambert, 73, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover.
He was born Aug. 7, 1940, to Merle and Doris (Frame) Lambert in Coats.
He married Sondra Maphet on Dec. 21, 1973 in Fort Scott. She survives.
He was a graduate of Coats High School and attended college in Pratt. He was a truck triver for 40 years recently retiring from Jim O’Grady Trucking in 2011.
He enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, nature, barbequing, working on cars and spoiling his great-granddaughter Scarlett.
He was a member of Church For all Nations in Liberal.
Survivors include daughters, Victoria D. Lambert, Liberal, and Shiela Schwalm and husband, Marc, Hiawatha; sister, Marilyn (Donnie) Council, Albany, Ga.; three granddaughters, Alexandria Bowen, Liberal, Samantha Lambert, Liberal, and Alexis Schwalm, Hiawatha; grandson, Justin Lambert, Liberal; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Lambert, Liberal; and two step-granddaughters, Lauren Schwalm and Jessica Schwalm.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne Lambert.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church For All Nations with Pastor Darren Metcalf presiding.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call noon to 5 p.m. today at Miller Mortuary.
