Bertha Alicia Loya De Mercado, 52, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Liberal.

She was born April 5, 1961, to Juan and Erlinda (Ramirez) Loya at Namiquipa Chihuahua, Mexico.

She married Manuel Mercado in Mexico. He survives.

She was employed with National Beef Packing Co. for 16 years.

She is also survived by her mother; three sons, Erasmo Mercado and spouse, Vanessa, Amarillo, Texas, Gerardo Mercado and spouse, Mirna, Liberal, and Eric Mercado and spouse, Jose Videl, Liberal; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

• Rosary/vigil service will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Liberal.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Hector De La Vega presiding.

Burial will take place at the Liberal City Cemetery.

Friends may call until 5 p.m. today at Miller Mortuary, Liberal.
