ULYSSES – Kathy Lynn Anderson, 60, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 24, 1953, to Latin and Lenora Maxine (Sams) Anderson in Wellington.
She attended school in Ulysses. She earned an LPN certificate from Seward County Community College.
She worked at Peddlers Inn Restaurant for a number of years; and Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital for the last two years in the dietary department.
She collected Betty Boop and Fairy memorabilia. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, music and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Jake Gallant and wife, Monica, Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Kandy Meier and husband, Travis, Ulysses, and Shelly Stout and husband, Dale, Bucklin; brother, Max Anderson, Glorieta, N.M.; five grandsons; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
• A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses, with the Rev. Sam Bynum presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
