Trailing by two heading into the fourth quarter, The Beaver Lady Dusters rallied with a 13-6 fourth quarter to take down the Forgan Lady Bulldogs 43-38 in the third place game of the Buffalo Invitational, Saturday evening.

The win tied the ‘Six-Mile War’ series on the girls’ side for the season at 2-2.

Beaver led early, 10-8 at the end of the first quarter, but the Lady Bulldogs fought back with a 14-8 advantage in the second to take a 22-18 lead at the half.

The Lady Dusters cut the lead back to two in the third quarter with by outscoring Forgan 12-10, but still trailed 32-30 heading into the final stanza.

Beaver’s Jacinda Balderrama finished with 11, Shalyn Farrington added 10, and Kaitlin Kemp added 9 to lead the Lady Dusters.

For Forgan, it was KaDawn McReynolds and Courtney Eagan each with 11, and Nikki Taylor with 10.

Beaver (12-7) will hosts Boise City Tuesday. Homecoming activities will also take place
Forgan (5-13) will be at Southwestern Heights.
