Another dominating effort by Forgan led to a 70-26 blowout win over the Boise City Wildcats and moved the Bulldogs into the regional finals to be played Saturday in Buffalo.
Forgan took control from the opening tip and led 19-6 at the end of the first period, and 37-11 heading into the halftime locker room.
"Offensively we started slow for the first four minutes," said Bulldogs coach Todd Kerr. "But we were able to get some shots to start going down after that."
The Bulldog starters and key reserves pushed the lead to 41, leading 58-17 after three.
"Defensively we were still very much in sync," said Kerr. "We were able to create turnovers and get some points in transition."
The bench was still able to ad to the Forgan tally, outscoring Boise City 12-9 in the fourth.
Forgan spread the scoring out with Ryan Radcliff being the top scorer with 14. Tanner Jones added 12, and Jake Regier 9. Matt Morris, Tyler McReynolds, and Tayler Eagan each scored 6 points.
No. 2 Forgan (24-1) will face No. 12 Fargo in the regional finals, and should feel good about their chances after beating the Bearcats twice this season by a 24.5 per game margin.
