ROLLA – Robert Wayne Dannels, 71, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Pioneer Manor, Hugoton.

He was born Feb. 24, 1942, to Robert Clayton and Oleva Vallie (Hershey) Dannels in Dodge City.

He worked several years for the City of Hugoton and for Dallas Bresslers filling station.

Survivors include one brother, Gary Don Dannels and wife, Mary, Tyrone, Okla.; one sister, Sondra Sue Burrows and husband Ron, Bethany, Okla.; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Dean Dannels.

• Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at My Father’s House, Hugoton, with Pastor Pam Peachey presiding.

Burial was at the Rolla Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Pioneer Manor Nursing Home and may be mailed to Paul’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
