Emma Ellen Brock, 87, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Feb. 23, 1926, to George and Ethel (Ward) Keller, in Sun City.
She married Ralph Porter on January 1946.
She then married Ivan Ashcroft.
She later married Leonard “Barney” Brock Jan. 14, 1956, at Pratt. He died Dec. 8, 2011.
She attended Sun City schools.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets and fancy socks for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and jigsaw puzzles.
She was a member of Woodward, Okla., Ladies Petroleum Club.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Brock and wife, Terry, Magnolia, Texas, and Kevin Brock, Houston; three daughters, Debra Brock, Liberal, Marian McCaulley and husband, Vernon, Liberal, and Orvilla Sherer, Houston; one brother, Everett Keller; four sisters, Eva Carnegie, Elveta Keller, Edweena Warford and Esther Potter; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Schenena Porter, Liberal.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Melvin “Papa” Porter; two brothers; and five sisters.
• Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Sun City with Pastor David Randall presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association in care of Miller Mortuary.
