The Seward County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will host its annual Membership Banquet Saturday, Nov. 2, at the fairgrounds Ag Building in Liberal.

The banquet is a fun and exciting family event where every “greenwing” will walk away with something. Dinner will include a whole hog roast with all the fixings, and the hall will be full of quailty art and up to 13 firearms.

The doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 and the live auction starting at 8 p.m.

The costs are $35 for a single, $10 for a Greenwing, $300 as a Bronze sponsor and a corporate table is $500.

Tickets can be obtained by calling Greg Bird at 624-1612 or can be reserved (and paid for) online at http:/KS.ducks.org.

Ducks Unlimited has worked with Kansas Department of Wildlife on numerous conservation projects throughout the state. Total DU habitat projects in Kansas through June 30, 2013, include 24,939 acres conserved while spending $12,328,631 in the process.
