Thursday, 03 October 2013 11:37

The thunderstorms that hit the area Friday night didn't keep 68 people from enjoying Butch and Pat of the Kickshickers Band at the Liberal Senior Center. The upcoming schedule for dances in October include: OK Cowboy and Texas Lady Friday, Kickshickers Oct. 11, Bob Walter Oct. 18, and Craig Stevens Oct. 25. These dance are put on by the Happy Steppers and the cost is $6 each and a cover dish or snack to get in. Dances start at 8 p.m. and go to 11. Billy’s BBQ provided a good discount on food last week for Butch and Pat coming back a second time during September. They had pulled pork, beans and salad from Billy's. Everyone seemed to have a great time with a great band to go with it. Courtesy photos
