Victor Lee Watkins, 66, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton.
He was born Jan. 20, 1947, to Robert Wayne and Juanita (Steele) Watkins in Greensburg.
He married Ruby Arellano Feb. 12, 1966, in Hugoton. She survives.
He served in U.S. Navy from 1964-1967.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He coached and umpire baseball games. He enjoyed Hugoton Sports Boosters and was a Hugoton Eagle and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Other survivors include one son, Kevin Watkins, Hugoton; two daughters, Shanna Flores and husband, Manny, Guymon, Okla., and Kristin Farnum and husband, Gordon, Hugoton; eight grandchildren, Koy, Katey and Kellen Watkins, Sara Pinkham, Brian and Olivia Flores and Amanda and Aleah Farnum; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Dawson.
o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God, Hugoton, with pastors Richard Martin, Lanny Bollacker and Ben Staley presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
