HUGOTON – Eric Lislie “Bubba” Knox, 21, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at his home in Emporia, Kan.
He was born to Mike Knox and Casey Rindels Aug. 11, 1992, in Liberal, Kan.
He grew up in Hutgoton and graduated from Hugoton High School in 2011. He was currently a student at Emporia State University.
While in high school, he participated in wrestling and FBLA. He played summer baseball and enjoyed hunting and was interested in guns and knives.
He is survived by his father, Mike Knox, Hugoton; mother, Casey Knox and step-father, Bob Mangels, Ulysses; sister, Jami Knox, Birmingham, Iowa; step-grandparents, Darrel and Pat Mangels, Ulysses; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irvin “Irv” and Betty Rindels, Delbert and Bobbie Knox; two uncles, Delbert Leslie Knox, Jr. and Mike Rindels.
• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Hugoton with Pastor Heath Kelley presiding.
Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call today from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.
