There will be an informational meeting from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Liberal Recreation Center for girls fastpitch softball.

The purpose of the meeting will be to organize and come up with ideas for the future of girls softball in Liberal, including possibly establishing a board.

The meeting is for parents of kids who are interested in girls softball (no kids if possible, please). Anyone who may possibly be interested is welcome to attend.

This summer there were traveling teams that competed in the 8-and-under, 10-and-under, 12-and-under, 14-and-under and 16-and-under diviisons and three city league teams comprised of ages 8 to 14.
