Rollo Gene Day, 83, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.
He was born Aug. 3, 1929, Washington County to Elmer and Dolly (Coder).
He married Neva Robertson July 28, 1958, in Clayton, NM. She survives.
He was a plant manager for Liquid Carbonic for 13 years, and he retired in 1987.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and was a founding member of Arkalon Park.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald Day and wife Terri, Blue Rapids; Dean Robertson and wife Jeanette, Tyrone, Okla.; four daughters, Leona Mashbrush and husband Duane, Citrus Heights, Calif.; Cynthia Avery and husband Leon, Colfax, Wash.; Carole Koenig and friend Dennis Holman, Greely, Colo.; and Mary Neumann and husband Larry, Hondo, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and two great grand children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one grandson.
• Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tyrone Cemetery with Bro. Wyatt Carpenter and Dean Robertson, Jr., presiding.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Mortuary.
