Have racial relations deteriorated or improved under this presidency? E-mail

I may be reading between the lines, but as a white Christian male, I believe my president thinks that automatically makes me racist.
His words have been loud and clear, and action has been taken to disempower, to remove resources and to outright discriminate against white Christian men.
His tactics have worked to a tee.
Without issuing an executive order, he directed the IRS to attack any group that even resembled being made up of white Christian men. He didn’t have a midnight meeting in the White House to get his point across. Every stump speech attacked the Tea Party-like groups who believed in the Constitution. What the Tea Party refers to as the rule of law, Obama recently referred to in his commencement speech to Morehouse University as oppression.
“Many of you know what it’s like to be an outsider, to be marginalized, to feel the sting of discrimination,” The president said to the all black male graduates. “That’s an experience that so many other Americans share. Hispanic Americans know that feeling when someone asks where they come from or tells them to go back. Gay and lesbian Americans feel it when a stranger passes judgment on their parenting skills or the love they share. Muslim Americans feel it when they’re stared at with suspicion because of their faith. Any woman who knows the injustice of earning less pay for doing the same work — she sure feels it.”
If all of these groups are being discriminated against, that leaves only one group the president obviously called out by omitting them from the list — Christian white males.
His statement at Morehouse clearly shows those graduates who they should be challenging. Not women, not Muslims, not Hispanics and not other blacks.
That leaves Asians, who make up 5 percent of the population, or white Christian males.
By using race against them, he has turned the majority population male into the villain. Especially those who believe in the founding fathers, or in state’s rights, or in limited government, or those who simply disagree with his views.
These people are the enemy, and they are crippling everyone else, so goes the talking points.
Obama did what Jesse Jackson tried to do but couldn’t.
Jackson formed the Rainbow Coalition in the 1980s as an attempt to counter the Reagan policies, saying that minorities and women were being left out of the American Dream.
The problem was that everyone was benefiting from the Reagan policies of lower taxes and less government.
Because the government revenues increased under Reagan, and the economy boomed, Reagan was able to invest in social programs that helped the less fortunate, of any color or gender, and so Jackson’s message only resonated with the angry. Under Reagan, more women and minorities went to work and paved the way to their own future.
But Obama was able to take an economic downturn and make it racial. He defined the recession as a problem of greed. Since many were hurting in the downturn, including Christian white guys, his racial blame game caught on among all minority groups who didn’t seem to care if “Whitey” had to pay more taxes.
Obama didn’t have to order the IRS to discriminate against groups he saw as a threat to his message. They understood him loud and clear.
So Obama set out to punish Christian white guys by increasing their taxes in the disguise of “share the wealth.”
Obama intentionally left the southern border unprotected to increase minority content of the entire nation, and called anyone who wanted to secure the border a racist.
Despite overwhelming evidence that terrorist attacks on American soil have occurred from Muslim extremists, Obama demonized anyone who used the term as being a racial bigot.
Obama and his IRS set out to prevent his opposition from working the same way as Moveon.org or the countless other non-profit liberal groups who raise hundreds of millions in support of the political action of the president by denying them the same legal non-profit status.
Only one group has been the target of Obama’s policies, although there has been collateral damage.
Obama’s first term was a disaster for everyone — except the wealthiest 20 percent. Median household income declined by 8 percent in Obama’s first term, which is the same as every middle class worker losing one month’s pay. Child poverty soared more than 20 percent for the first time.
African American teenagers, who saw 2.5 percent more jobs under Reagan’s policies, fell by 2.6 percent under Obama.
Strangely, income disparity has increased, with the top 20 percent earning more while the bottom 80 percent earned less.
According to Professor Henry Nau of George Washington University, “The U.S. grew by more than 3 percent per year (in real terms) from 1980 to 2007, and created more than 50 million new jobs, massively expanding a middle class of working women, African-Americans and legal as well as illegal immigrants. Per capita income increased by 65 percent, and household income went up substantially in all income categories.” Just the opposite has happened under Obama, and yet he continues to blame the White Christian males.
And why not? It’s working for him to rip America in two.
