Obituary

 

Dell Tessa DeVorce died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.

She was born to Judge Guyton and Helen (Robinson) Guyton.

She married Nepolean DeVorce June 19, 1945, in Clarksville, Texas.  He died Nov. 3, 1997.

She graduated from Clarksville High School.

She was homemaker and a  housekeeper at Southwest Medical Center. She retired in 1970.

She is survived by three sons, Lee Dale Massangale and wife, Vera, Champaign, Ill., Thomas DeVorce, Liberal, and Gary DeVorce, Galesburg, Ill.; five daughters, Elizabeth Ann Taylor, Galesburg,  Brenda DeVorce, Liberal,  Ernestine Dale DeVorce-Jones and husband, Jimmy, Houston, Sherri Lynn Washington and husband, Terry, Wichita, and Marilyn DeVorce, Liberal; and  five generations of grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, Liberal, with the Rev. Lawrence Johnson and Pastor Jimmy Holman presiding.

Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.
