Liberal opened the 2013 track season with a win at the Winfield Invitational. Liberal.

Nine teams competed at the meet, and the Redskins scored 102 points followed by Derby’s 87.

Trenton Hammond took gold in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles, and Chase Eatmon took gold in the high jump and long jump.

The Lady Redskins finished third with 87 points. Newton took first with 115.66 points, and Derby was second with 99.33 points.
