Law enforcement and emergency responders work an accident Thursday afternoon near the Kansas/Oklahoma state line on U.S. Highway 54 west of Liberal. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a call was received around 4 p.m. for a semi truck hauling hay that caught fire. OHP said it is unknown if the truck was eastbound or westbound, but no injuries were reported in the accident and no other vehicles were damaged. OHP said a call was received around 8:30 p.m. Thursday that workers had left the scene, but this morning, scanner traffic indicated fires had once again reignited at the scene of the wreck.
