Obituary

JOHNSON – Geneva Elizabeth Hale, 95, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson.  
She was born Aug. 2, 1914, to George and Emma Coombes in Woodward, Okla.  
She married Hal Hale Nov. 14, 1931. He died in October 1998.
She attended Manter High School.
She was a seamstress, and she enjoyed farm work and sewing.
She is survived by her children Sally and Daryl Daniels and Ruth and Bud Loader, Manter; eight grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Manter United Methodist Church in Manter, with Pastor Will Kenyon presiding.  
Burial will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson.  
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.  
Memorials are suggested to the Stanton County Long Term Care Unit or the Manter Methodist Church, both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 715, Johnson, KS 67855.
