The Forgan Lady Bulldogs took care of business against Arnett, and picked up their eleventh win of the season with a 52-42 win.
Forgan took a four-point lead in the first quarter (11-7), but Arnett forced turnovers with their press to cut two off of the lead by halftime (24-22).
In the third quarter Forgan gained a 9-7 advantage to lead 33-29 heading into the final period.
"Defense was pretty good. They ran an offense that we were ready for," Lady Bulldogs coach Brett Trippet said.
Forgan went 7 of 10 from the field in the fourth, and outscored Arnett 19-13 to win by 10.
"Arnett did what I expected; they pressed us and trapped us a lot of the game," Trippet said. "When we took care of the ball we got a lot of easy shots. They got us to turn it over some, but we were able to get enough going to win the game. We got our high-low game going and got some easy baskets from it as well."
Forgan's Nikki Taylor scored a game-high 20 points on 8 of 15 shooting from the field. Kenzi Taylor scored 18 on 6 of 14 shooting, and made 6 of 10 free throws. KaDawn McReynolds added seven points.
No.12 Forgan (11-4) will travel to No.15 Shattuck Tuesday.
