The Forgan Bulldogs claimed their fourth straight Oil Center Classic with a 71-59 win over the Mooreland Bearcats.
Tournament MVP Jake Regier scored 27 points, and Chandler Bryer added 25 in the win.
Tied 40-40 with 4:27 left in the third quarter, Forgan began to slowly pull away. An 11-3 run early in the fourth put the Bulldogs up by 12 with 3:55 left in the game. Mooreland got within six, but Forgan scored the final seven points of the game.
The first half had been a seesaw affair with ten lead changes and five ties, with Forgan gaining a 33-31 advantage at the break.
No.1 Forgan (12-1) will host No.4 Fargo (13-3) Tuesday night.
The Forgan Lady Bulldogs defeated the Beaver Lady Dusters 49-47 to take the third place trophy at the Oil Center Classic.
Forgan (9-4) will host Fargo Tuesday. Beaver (5-8) will host Turpin (1-12).
The Beaver Dusters defeated the Shattuck Indians 43-36 to take home the boys third place trophy at the Oil Center Classic.
Beaver (8-4) will host Turpin Tuesday.
The Turpin Cardinals defeated Sharon-Mutual 42-32 to win the consolation game.
The Turpin Lady Cardinals lost the seventh-place game to Waynoka, 38-29.
