Obituary

ELKHART – Pauline Thompson, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was born Feb. 19, 1936, to Alfred and Minnie (Wainscott) Robinson in Guymon, Okla.

She married Larry Thompson June 20, 1952, in Guymon. He died Feb. 5, 2004.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Elkhart.

She supported missionaries. She also enjoyed traveling and reading.

She is survived by one son, Stephen L. Thompson, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Nita J. Thompson and Terry L. Ferguson, both of Elkhart; five grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Kathy Bell, G.W. Cooper, Dusty Ferguson and Tara Phillips; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

o Memorial service were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at the First Baptist Church in Elkhart, with Pastor Ed Richards, the Rev. Ginger Howl and the Rev. David Johnson presiding.

Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the First Baptist Church for missionaries or the Morton County Libarary in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
