HOUSTON – Nancy Alice Mendenhall, 70, died Nov. 23, 2010, at Vitas Hospice in Houston.

She was born Dec. 2, 1939, to Robert Leland and Bernice Harter Scott in Texas County, Okla.

She married Paul Mendenhall Aug. 10, 1957, in Clayton, N.M. He died in June of 2010

She attended school in Baker and graduated from Eureka High School with the Class of 1958.

She worked part time at the Baker Post Office.

She was a member of the Baker United Methodist Church.

She was a member of the Texas County Home Extension and Denim and Lace.

Survivors include two sons, Randy and wife, Shannon, Edmond, Okla., and Mike and wife, Sheri, Duncan, Okla.; one daughter, Melinda Munger and husband, Thomas, Katy, Texas; three brothers, Bob and Lavonna Scott, Catoosa, Okla., Walter and Heidi Scott, Galena, Ill., and L.J. and Cindy Scott, Hooker, Okla.; four sisters, Roberta Cantwell, Turpin, Okla., Ethel Mae Abel, Baker, Okla., Thelma Jean and Duane Lambert, Kismet, and Thelma Dean and Everett Baker, Liberal; seven grandchildren, Brett, Alyssa, Alysson and Trevor Mendenhall and Makenna, Gage and Cole Munger.

She was also preceded in death by his parents.

o Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Turpin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Todd Bergman presiding.

Burial will be at the Hooker Cemetery.
