ULYSSES – Anna Velasquez, 33, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born Dec. 19, 1978, to Johan and Helena (Peters) Wolf in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua Mexico.
She married Larry Paul Velasquez in 2003. He survives.
She received her GED in Ulysses.
She was a supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundation.
She attended the New Life Church in Ulysses.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Henry and Susanna Peters of Aylmer, Ontario Canada, and Maria Wolf of Campo 82, Mexico; her parents; her son, Carlos Wolf of the home; stepson, Skylar Renshaw, Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers, Frank Wolf and wife, Erin, Hutchinson, and Richard Wolf, Ulysses; sister, Norma Wolf, Ulysses; and niece and nephew, Christan and Noah.
She was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Isaac Wolf, and her daughter, Alicia Velasquez.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at New Life Church in Ulysses, with Pastor Kerry Rosfeld and Ted Goertzen presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
